Traffic Control Training
ALJ Safety has been training Traffic Control Persons (TCP) in the British Columbia Okanagan for over ten years. The training offered today meets the standards required by the BC Construction Safety Alliance, the only recognized and sanctioned training authority for TCP’s in British Columbia.
You will acquire the knowledge and practical skills that are essential for you to work in this industry. To successfully complete this course you must pass a written exam and practical evaluation. You will then have the required qualifications, to a Provincial standard, that will allow you to work on public roads throughout British Columbia as a Traffic Control Person (Flagger).
This two day course meets all training standards required by WorkSafe BC. Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, the Ministry of Transportation for British Columbia and other regulatory requirements.
All classroom materials, including necessary manuals and required ID photo are included in the registration.
You must have CSA approved safety ankle boots for Day 2 of class.
All other required personal protective equipment (safety hat, reflective vest, etc) is supplied for class use.
Training is offered in Kelowna by ALJ Safety Consulting & Training.
