Traffic Control Training
ALJ Safety has been training Traffic Control Persons (TCP) in the British Columbia Okanagan for over twenty years. The training offered today meets the standards required by the BC Construction Safety Alliance.
You will acquire the knowledge and practical skills that are essential for you to work in this industry. To successfully complete this course you must pass a written exam and practical evaluation. You will then have the required qualifications, to a Provincial standard, that will allow you to work on public roads throughout British Columbia as a Traffic Control Person (Flagger).

Training is offered in Kelowna by ALJ Safety Consulting & Training.
This two day course meets standards required by Worksafe B.C. Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure for British Columbia and other Regulatory requirements.
All classroom materials, including necessary manuals and required ID photo are included in the registration.
You must have CSA approved safety ankle boots for Day 2 of class.
All other required personal protective equipment (safety hat, reflective vest, etc) is supplied for use in class.
COURSE IS TWO VERY FULL DAYS OF CLASSROOM AND PRACTICAL TRAINING.
Normally, sessions are 8:30am-4:30pm each course day.
Once registered through the BCCSA you will be contacted to confirm your registration and means of payment.
Cost per person is $280.00 + tax (cash, debit or credit card, no personal cheques)
Includes all required manuals, all classroom materials, and required ID photo.
If there are insufficient registrations for an individual course it may be cancelled or rescheduled.
